A Word From The Author:
Born with a “spiritual silver spoon” in my mouth, I lived 30 years believing God always fixed things. I assumed living a life of obedience and faith guaranteed God wouldn’t allow overwhelming trials to completely suck the life out of me. Then I experienced a “Job year,” and discovered my view of God was not based on the truth of Scripture. Driven by desperation and drawn by grace, I searched the Bible for truth and gleaned priceless principles that helped bring peace and understanding to my emptiness and confusion. I have taught the concepts presented in this series for a number of years with great success, and long to reach out to your Bible study group with the truth, hope and encouragement contained in these lessons.
When I was in high school Keith Green released a powerful song called How Can They Live Without Jesus. I sang it with a spiritual silver spoon in my mouth. Today my heart breaks with the realization that even with Jesus, life can push us to the edge and leave us on the brink. I wrote Enough is Enough for women who need to learn—just as I did—that God is more than enough to meet our needs.
